Eastaway Property was founded in 2023 out of a sincere desire to do things differently. We are a soon-to-be husband-and-wife team who are passionate about property and our local area. We work, rest, and play in Stamford and love our town and its community.

James Eastaway
With 20 years of experience in the property industry, James Eastaway has worked with the UK’s most respected estate agents, becoming the youngest regional director at a prestigious firm and achieving record-breaking home sales. As co-founder of Eastaway Property alongside his fiancée Kimbly, James brings his expertise to every sale. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the water, playing cricket, and indulging his passions for F1, fine dining, and the arts. A regular at Stamford’s great bars and restaurants, James is also a member of Glyndebourne and the Royal Society of Arts.
Kimbly Mackman
Kimbly is a driven entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in owning and managing businesses. Having worked with clients across the globe in multiple industries, she’s proud to have earned awards like the Stevie award for customer service and a Learning Excellence award for innovation. As co-founder of Eastaway Property with her fiancé James, Kimbly brings her expertise in estate agency, digital marketing, and compliance to every project. Outside of work, she’s passionate about traveling, enjoys a good book with a glass of wine, and loves taking her daughter to the theatre.
Calvin Bird
Calvin is a senior Mortgage and Protection Advisor at NHMB, working closely with us to help clients secure financing for their property purchases. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or have a complex case, Calvin can help. He has access to the whole market, allowing him to explore hundreds of lenders to find you the best deal. NHMB also has exclusive arrangements, offering deals you won’t find elsewhere. Outside of work, Calvin is a passionate sportsman, playing cricket, football, and rugby, and when he’s not on the field, you’ll find him spectating.
Thomas Waumsley
Thomas is a fully qualified independent licensed conveyancer with seven years of experience specialising in residential conveyancing. Working as a freelance consultant with Taylor Rose, Thomas is known for his efficiency and diligence, keeping clients informed throughout the entire conveyancing process. He lives with his wife, two daughters, and their dog, Milo. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys playing football and spending quality time with his family.
